The consortium had to, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and travel restrictions connected to it, organize the 2nd project meeting online. Luckily, the virtual space enabled partners to discuss all important issues and tasks of the SUFABU project and the partners managed to agree on further steps in the project implementation despite being thousands of kilometres away.

In these turbulent and unprecedented times, partners of the SUFABU project were not allowed to meet face-to-face at the second meeting in Oslo and instead organized a two-day virtual conference via Zoom. The conference took place on 1.-2.4.2020 and all partners managed to attend during these days. The team discussed the final steps in preparing the Summary Report and started working on the next task of the project – the collection of Case Studies of family businesses which already went through the process of intergenerational exchange.
Regarding the current unfortunate times which have, in many cases, severe consequences for family businesses around Europe, the partners also debated on a possible help to such companies.
We would like to thank all partners for their perfect cooperation, especially our Norwegian partners FBN for their flexibility and speed with which they organized the virtual meeting. We would also like to thank our Czech partners INPRO for leading the two-day conference.
We wish all partners and family businesses around Europe to be strong in these brought times and to stay safe.
